Originally from Sydney Australia, where he completed his Sports Science and Physiotherapy undergraduate training, Scott has spent the last decade working in both the public and private health sectors.
Scott draws on a wealth of experience in both the public and private health systems in both Australia and Ireland. Scott has worked in Intensive Care, A&E, Medical and Surgical Wards, Oncology- establishing an exercise program for cancer patients, Heart/Lung Transplant, Acute Neurology & Rehab, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics and Sports from Recreational to Olympic athletes.
Over the past 7 years Scott has worked with the Irish Amateur Boxing team culminating in 2 Olympic Games (Beijing and London). Additionally Scott has spent the last 4 years working with Swim Ireland’s High Performance Centre at the University of Limerick – in this role he has had the fortune to experience multiple World championship again culminating in the London Games.
In 2010 Scott returned to Australia to complete a Masters Degree in Sports Physiotherapy at The University of Queensland
Aside from the sporting arena Scott is passionate about motor skill development in children and increased physical activity in the general population to improve health.
